Dynamic Placement Test Guide for Students

Any test can lead to a student feeling stressed and on edge — even one that is low stakes and formative. According to a study at the University of Chicago, exam stress takes up working memory and as a result, your students’ performance can worsen in stressful conditions.*

One strategy to try and overcome exam stress and help your students get the most accurate result is to familiarise them with the test structure and content. If they know what to expect (with regards to test structure and question types), test-takers will be more likely to focus their full attention and memory on answering questions to the best of their ability.

We wantto help your students achieve the most accurate result when taking the Dynamic Placement Test. So, we created a video guide for students, which you can share directly in your automated ‘Welcome Email’. It covers logging in, the familiarisation section and the six main question types that test-takers will encounter. You can have a look at the video below or go straight to YouTube using this link.
